Luxury vs Ordinary

My perspective about Traveling in the city is the thought I have in mind to share on this page. Bangalore has become a diverse city with people from all states landing to settle and start a new life. There seems to be only 10% of localites around and rest of 90% seem to dominate in all areas. Be it in any office..Andhra, Tamil, Malayalees are the majority.

By default any one who carries a backpack behind his back is a Software Engineer. So, it means he is a person who is extraordinarily paid more than the others. So, he is subjected to different care. The price could increase by 50% unlike when it is bought by an ordinary guy...i.e without a laptop bag.

On Monday's I need to catch the bus to Hebbal ( 40Kms from home) and when I look out for the direct bus to reach I find a conductor telling me.."Madam, Volva alli baruthade" ( madam, Volvo will arrive at that stop) . I wonder what made him conclude that I would not go by the other ordinary bus. As my nature goes, I try out different things and adapt to the process that is feasible.

I did try out Volvo bus from Banashankari to Hebbal..my feeling would be different from others ..i felt the seating uncomfortable. Sometimes the AC's just point to you and if you are not tall to change the direction you would be like freezing all along the way, which I did experience. As it is at the conductor/driver's discretion when the bus would move from one stop to other. The bus could commute like a boat but the time taken vary relatively. It makes me lazy..

On the contrary, I tried namma local bus last week, and believe me I found it better. The best part is because there is no AC and as the air gushes thru the window i feel sleepy and involuntary i go to sleep and it refreshes me by the time I reach my destination and I am with all energy to take the next bus.

Believe me, don't be taken away by Luxury, there is always something good in ordinary which only experience can teach you.
