Lymphoma

Lyphoma - Sounds like Lukemia (something around it, should be related) - this is exactly my head triggered when my ear drums caught the word.

I was waiting outside the clinic to meet my parents who were visiting the doc. I found my mother beckoning me to join her as the doctor was speaking. I gave a warm smile which was completely ignored by the Doc. He looked shaken and he was speaking in English when he is aware that my parents was not understanding him. I knew his intent later that he did not want to be understood by them but had to be understood by me. Lymphoma is what he said. It was 20th of March. I remember riding my vehicle with tears rolling uncontrollably asking "WHY HIM"!!! I checked the internet to reconfirm, praying that it is not what my brain shouted loud at me. But, unfortunately it was not the case.

I had mixed feelings of anxiety and dismay. I felt lonely. I had to handle this . I am a realistic person, acting on the situation without emotional stigma. I had to be support to my mother.

My father the strong pillar of the family was completely broken. He was shattered, he was looking for some favorably answer at every day, he would cry out loud asking me if he is going to live long. I did not know the answer this question, i could not handle him being so weak.

He had to go thru the Biopsy, bone marrow check up and PET scan which concluded that the cancer had spread over to the lympnodes in his body. He had to undergo chemo 6 times with 3 weeks break. The first one was the painful one where his stomach hurt. He had to get adjusted to the medicine which was injected to him for 12 hrs in a day. We feared a lot about his health as the stories around us was unbearable. But, it did not turn out as I had anticipated. Its 7  months now and he is fine, cannot say normal because he has lost the stamina he had earlier, but I am very glad and thank full the he is beside me.

He is destined to live for the good reason that God has planned.

PS: I am sure there would be someone who would be needing some answers, i could share my experience, leave a comment, i shall write back.

Infy campus

Hello blogger or googller – you might be wondering that in this piece of information you are going to read a lot on Infy campus, but unfortunately not, I was hardly inside. I am here to say how I felt to be 20 feet within the campus.

I have heard that the campus at Mysore is great and state of the art, I thought I had an opportunity, but we felt like we were treated like citizens visiting from other country. It was like being at the airport providing ID proof, photo...all the same items to 4 different people. In the airport we are sure we are taken off in the the plane, but here we are sent back, I least expected a trip around the place which calls itself “State of the Art”. So, parents only two of you accompany your kid, others have to be stuck outside the gate, it’s a pity.

We got to know more information of this place by the coconut vendor who sits across the street, while we were unable to go inside and witness it. Only the Employee is allowed!!!!

Nothing for a 3 hrs journey to Mysore!!!

The Beauty of Dubai

I should say that it was my best vacation ever. I needed a break from the 2 years of hard work that I was in. Dubai was an unpredicted destination. It was all of a sudden, my parent's well wisher had the visa ready and I had the tickets ready in a very short notice. It is two weeks that I am done with the trip and still every day of the trip to me is a wonder by itself. I should give the credit to Emirates who made my journey the best. We got to visit lots of places in the 5 days stay. If you google i am sure you will find about Dubai...i am not going to pen down what i saw but something very ignorable to the citizen on UAE, bit surprising to an Indian.

I felt good about
  • The tidy streets in Dubai is so surprising to me. I cannot think of one main road in Bangalore as best as their "galli" roads, you can expect the level in which the main roads are.
  • The lane discipline followed and the parking process which is adhered to.
  • No clothes hung out of the house on the main streets.
  • No stones/gravel , poles on the road.
  • No banners hung of politicians
  • Not a single road dug during the day time.
  • No construction workers on the road
  • Not  a single street light off at night
  • Their fish market - not one fly alive around, only sea gulls flying.
  • Best kerala recipe hotels
  • The various colored flowers that are grown beside the footpath ( In bangalore I can only imagine dogs sleeping on footpath or bikers riding on footpath without allowing the pedestrian to walk)
  • The cold dessert sand
  • The arabic dance by the men, their dance along with hand movement involves circling at the same position should be more than 300 times.
  • Large parks where picnics can happen..
  • The importance they give to the disabled.
  • Only beautiful eyes of ladies visible which tells a lot about their beauty.
  • Standing in front of the tallest building in the world - Burj Kalifa
  • Seeing all the latest cars which I would never seen before, i even saw a Limo
  • Ferarri racing cars....i never knew they were so loud.
  • shopping at the  dubai shopping festival area...lucky that it was not entirely closed
What I was uneasy about the country was
They tried to get nature artificially, their beaches are so clean and tidy and yet there is no waves. Their water is so clean and hygienic yet not natural, understand that it is the processed ocen water.

I think that there is lot to learn for them for a country like India, they allways wants the best and be the best, which has resulted in the best out of them and we can understand why our situation is like this.

I dedicate this blog to the family we stayed with without whom this wonder would have never have happened.

The satisfying fact is that I can stikeout one of my wishlist I had for 2013 i.e to take my parents on a lavish trip which they truly deserve and I bet they have enjoyed each bit of it.

Corporate Chanakya

6000 sutra's is what Chanakya has written. Imagine the way he thinks. I am reading the book "Corporate Chanakya" and it has drawn me easily. I would be jotting down few points for my reference. I would in my words make it relevant to me.
Factors that lead to true power
1. Intellectual power - get trained. Be knowlegeable
2. Man Power - Have a good team
3. Financial power - control on Finance
4. Power of Enthusiasm and Power - Leader to be always charged with enthusiasm and high level of morale.

With Power comes responsibility
How can you keep every one in happy when you are in command
1. Understand the needs of market.
2. Remember old clients when making new ones.
3. Solve the problem immediately.

6 Senses that needs to be avoided by a leader.
1. Lust - over attachments . do not be carried away with lust of power
2. Anger - maintain cool head
3. Greed - Should be dynamic but not carried away with material gains
4. Pride - No ego
5. Arrogance - Do not blame take success and failures with everyone
6. Over excitement - Expressing extreme happiness or sadness has to be avoided.

Create your law to succeed. But answer the below
1. A law for what
2. Benefit for all
3. Fit for all

Control your office- comprises of Treasury, Army and Trustworthy men

Who is the leader - who is energetic, self motivated automatically motivates his emloyees.
JRD Tata was the first indian to get the piolet licence in his twenties. He started the Tata Airlines which is Indian airlines today.

Maintain Secrets - The more the secrets are out the more the leader has to bow.Chandrashekar Azad never let know what is his next move..he was free with his secret with him

Success is a threefold - that attainable by the power of counsel is success by counsel , that attainable by the power of might is success by might, that attainable by power of energy is success by energy.
Counsel - do not comprimise on good training
Might - the authority that one has in the position
Energy - is the will power. The enthusiasm and passion he shows.

Woody's Hotel

Review of Woody's Hotel, J.P.Nagar, Bangalore.

Today had being to the newly innovated Woody's hotel. The change that I found from the conventional hotel was that there was open area to collect your snacks and be seated. It is spacious. Earlier when we are siting inside the AC area I would feel like sitting in a Mangalore hotel, but now I feel it like a fast food space. There is not specific dress code any for the waiters. Have raised the price along the innovation. Centeral Mall, Big Bazar being opposite to this location its a good business center. They have lodging facility there as well. The food quality is very good. Can guarantee that the Masala Dosa..that I order regularly is tasty. All who have a chance should try!!

Krishna Rao Park

I am amazed by this park which is located in Basavangudi, near Gandhi Bazar area, South Bengaluru. It's a best spot for children to play, lovers to romance, senior men and women to walk/chat and working class to exercise. What I was found of are the huge tress in the park, could be more than 100 years old. It's all lush green and welcoming. I bet most of them visited the park would be parents who stop by seeing the play ground with playing instruments which resides on ones side of the park, utilize and enjoy that spot and return without knowing what else is within this park. I am staying in Bangalore more than 20 years and last week is the first time I took a stroll round the park. I felt like I was in the movie "Lord of the Rings" - 2nd part where the tress walk and talk. You don't feel you are in the highest polluted city in India. Every Bangalore should give a visit.

Team outing with LBS

When you accept change there is a line of other things that you will need to adapt to, which is unplanned. Changing Job was my decision but what came along with it are inevitable things that I had to be a part off.
Being in my earlier company I had being a part of 100 member team and outing and team dinner was held regularly. It was something that was taken for granted. The company was spending lavishly to keep the employees satisfied and happy. But now I do not find it. The environment here is very different. Should say that there is more value of money. It is not that they do not consider the employees satisfaction, it is the culture that has changed after the recession in 2002. A lot of thinking goes for any cost that would incur. Personally that is how I like it.

This is the first outing of the team since inception. Glad that I could be part of it. We are close knit 28 member team from Bangalore. We were only 2 ladies in this group and never felt odd in this group. It's the bond that the company culture has unknowingly thought us. Earlier I would fell that I or should say the ladies were dominated by the male gang even though we were 30 of them. Here I did not feel the hint of it. It was such a pleasant feeling. I doubt that anyone even thought of night dance party which was the awaited event in my previous company. Here all gave importance to family. It was family first and then work. We were done by 5pm and off we left. We had followed the Go Green policy of car pooling. I felt like a group of children enjoying their day with the little pocket money that was saved. And every one relished the moment because it was rare. It was the birthday and anniversary of one of our team mate which was celebrated with a simple touch and I am sure he would remember it. Now that I think of it I feel lucky to be a part of it. Should say I have not emphasised my outing or about the resort in this blog, I have basically put my thought about the team which I give priority to. Thanks to my team.

Luxury vs Ordinary

My perspective about Traveling in the city is the thought I have in mind to share on this page. Bangalore has become a diverse city with people from all states landing to settle and start a new life. There seems to be only 10% of localites around and rest of 90% seem to dominate in all areas. Be it in any office..Andhra, Tamil, Malayalees are the majority.

By default any one who carries a backpack behind his back is a Software Engineer. So, it means he is a person who is extraordinarily paid more than the others. So, he is subjected to different care. The price could increase by 50% unlike when it is bought by an ordinary guy...i.e without a laptop bag.

On Monday's I need to catch the bus to Hebbal ( 40Kms from home) and when I look out for the direct bus to reach I find a conductor telling me.."Madam, Volva alli baruthade" ( madam, Volvo will arrive at that stop) . I wonder what made him conclude that I would not go by the other ordinary bus. As my nature goes, I try out different things and adapt to the process that is feasible.

I did try out Volvo bus from Banashankari to Hebbal..my feeling would be different from others ..i felt the seating uncomfortable. Sometimes the AC's just point to you and if you are not tall to change the direction you would be like freezing all along the way, which I did experience. As it is at the conductor/driver's discretion when the bus would move from one stop to other. The bus could commute like a boat but the time taken vary relatively. It makes me lazy..

On the contrary, I tried namma local bus last week, and believe me I found it better. The best part is because there is no AC and as the air gushes thru the window i feel sleepy and involuntary i go to sleep and it refreshes me by the time I reach my destination and I am with all energy to take the next bus.

Believe me, don't be taken away by Luxury, there is always something good in ordinary which only experience can teach you.

Confident with the 'Right Hand'

There were many instance's where I have found Guardian's/Parents holding their child's hands while walking on the road. It might be a simple view with no importance, but I always thought why do they hold the child on the side where there are chances that the vehicle could hit them, the same could be done by holding their hands on the left side why always the right?? Now that I am the mother I know the answer to it. It is not which side that the child is walking it is because on which side am i confident to protect the child with the sudden reflex if any untoward occurrences. All simple things that we see do have a reason behind it.

Something to learn from Japan's Tragedy

1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.
2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.
3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.
4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.
5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.
6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?
7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak
8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.
9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.
10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly

Book Review - The Kite Runner

My first reaction after completing the only activity I did today - reading the book "The Kite Runner" is to write this blog. I want to thank the author Dr. Khaled Hosseni. for his wonderful creation. He is a doctor by profession but his passion is to write books. Hoping that Mr. Khaled would read this note I write to him.

Dear Dr.Khaled,
I just happen to complete reading your book "The kite runner". I am completely moved by your words. You definately know how to translate your thoughts to words that attract any reader to complete the book in one go. I like all the characters in this book which teaches how to handle obstables in life. Everytime i think that the book is reaching a happy ending you put in a complete twist to the story. The book has encouraged me to write more like Amir Jan. I pray that God bless you to write more books and at least change the way people think about the fortunes that they possess. Thank you very much.

Books for our Angles

My son is 4 year old and my focus now is how to get his attention to read books. I encourage him to read books in the library, but we both turn out to be noisy and the librarian gets annoyed and warns us. Embarrassed, I pull him out from the library. This is the situation every time.

I was fortunate to attend a book exhibition at office and I noticed a book named "Magic Pot" - typically meant for small children. When I went through the content of the book there are essential tricks to get the kid's attention but the guide/reader should show the enthusiasm in reading it too.

Topics covered involves kids to
  • write number
  • alphabets
  • solve maze puzzles
  • recognize actions
  • colour worksheet
  • puzzle to check memory
  • simple games
  • do simple crafts
  • find the difference in pictures
  • recognize matching items
enough things to get the kids engaged.

I have subscribed this book for around 4 months, and my son now knows which is the page in the book which provides instructions to do the crafts.

I recommend all parents of kids 4 to 7 year old to subscribe this book. And I would suggest that it would be a good birthday gift to kids.

2012 December!!

Glad to write a blog now. It's been sometime. I need my thoughts to be flushed out right ? This is a very good place. What I today want to blabber is about the event or should I tell the havoc that is going to take place in 2012. The reason this came to my mind suddenly is because today when I was returning from office I found two temple's that i pass by regularly decorated with bright lights and crowd to a great extent. Even though I have little knowledge on the functions that the south indians celebrate, i was sure there was nothing special today, or I doubted for ones. As I reached my home my first question to my mom was if today was a auspicious day. When I told her the reason of my curiousness she answered that people are praying for the terrible day of 2012 December does not happen, they all have decided to walk by foot to the temple and pray to the God. How did she get this info..by TV9 news. The one and only news channel which provides all weird news other than what really matters to people around.

My reaction to this : Let me see that day.
I am a tenant to this universe and eventually I will have to leave, it would be quite early so enjoy until then than thinking about what the hell is going to happen.

I have the date - 21st December 2012. I am eagerly waiting for that day :)

Year 2010-one good year

Last day of the year 2010. Reflecting the major changes happened during this year. Lessons learnt are huge. I have become more strong. I suddenly seem to think what is the purpose of my existence. It is a very important question and do not know if one thinks at least once in a while like that. Hitler was born to create havoc, he was tried to be assassinated 29 times and fate was in favour of him. It's only after he did what he was meant for he easily committed suicide. May be I will get my answer sometime in my life.
What I miss is my earlier company. Company in terms of Organisation, Building, People working with and every item i had to encounter with during my 5 year role there. But departure is a part of life. I did learnt the good side of the departure. I know that I have imbibed 5% more social knowledge than the people in that company of the outer world. Believe me, life teaches a lot and I have learnt a lot.
Looking forward to a wonderful year with dreams that I have in my heart to be fulfilled.

The City Market

Hello there! i.e if any one is ever reading this :)
I had being to the City Market of Bengaluru today. The rate of visit by me at this spot is once a year. I suggest that those who have not landed in this place ones should. I will give you a vague explanation of this location. It's a market, obviously, without saying it goes that it's 'the' crowded place anytime between 3am in the morning to 12am in the night. You will mostly witness the male figure around. Only few ladies found and they are mostly Business women (Please do not picture a slim and trim dressed lady with a good looking handbag, just think of the opposite). It is the most untidiest place , anybody who has visited this place can testify this fact. Health conscious people are warned to visit this place. Because you need to be careful of each step you place there. The odour around some places are deleterious. But, i am sure one gets used to that within few minutes from the entrance. The best thing to begin with in this location is anything you think you want is available. The extreme of 'best' is we can never know where its exactly found unless you hunt. It's like the treasure hunt game - you are left alone in a huge place which is unclean and stinking with lots of strangers around who gives you a hostile stare because you are dressed different and you need to hunt your required list. Focusing only that which is most unlikely to happen fast. Footpaths are available, but are seldom used because it's occupied by the hawkers who pay their so called 'daily rent' to the insincere policemen for a 3 X3 feet ground on the footpath. Shops are not pleasing but its surprising to see the storage. Unexpected can be found. Today I found a apparel for 250/- which in Westlife could cost be 1,200/- . I am sure your mouths for a moment would have unconsciously spelt out "WOW". Yes, i also rely on quality and i did not find anything which i need to compromise on. The area that I am referring to is exactly call "Chickpet" = Chikka (small) + Pete (town) . But, it is not small, it humongous. So, give a visit.

What attracted me at this place ? - It's the people who are settled in this locality completely comfortable of the commotion around and do business. There is a great deal to learn from them. Starting from a man who stands on the road and advertises his shop by mouth and attracting them to his shop and the owner of the shop who handles the bargain of the Customer in such a way that he makes sure of a mutual settlement that the customer is not offended.

Relaxing phase

Its a relaxing period for me during work hours and I am paid. Why do you think so ? Any Guess ? I am in a phase called a "notice period", where I have handed over all my responsibilites and just enjoying the idle time. I know that there is lotz of work awaiting me. But, I decide the enjoy this moment by blogging my views.
I have confused feelings. At one point of time I feel proud that I have dared to come out of the comfort zone where in ladies prefer to continue work without any challenges and risk. At another instance i feel that I am leaving behind so many wonderful things, people and the luxuary. Its 4+ years that I am part of this team and I remember all the outings and team dinner that we had. Attached are the visuals that I have been seeing every day since the last 4+ years and I am sure I will not be forgetting it.

Enjoying the 'wait'

I am sitting in a low blue color chair in the classroom belonging to "LKG-G" students. People around me are parents for "NUR-I" section. Anxiety in their faces. We are all waiting for are dear ones who are attending their first day of class in this new school. Stopping the parents far away from class was the disciplinary action by the school, but it was torture to the parents. I found few parents with video camera to capture the moment of their gem going to school.

First day - After sending my son along with the teacher who stopped me at the gate , we (parents) had to assemble in another class. Wait time starts. I found both Parents present. All inquisitive about the other family. Some ladies start to break the silence. Some are friends who are lucky to have their kids in the same class and of cource they do not need an intro. Some flash out their mobile phone gadget and pretend to be a busy, and there was one lady who took out her laptop to work. Heights of pretence. Myself being a slow starter of converse was overhearing what the ladies around me was talking. Then, suddenly the teacher arrives with the kids Diary. The first day I met her, she was all purple, I really mean complete purple...her lips, her nails and her dress. Today she was all blue. Her dress and nails blue, but her lips,..naaa..Good of her not try it. She gave some instruction and rushed back. Finally the wait was over, the procedure followed for departure was not appreciative compared to arrival. Parents along with their young ones squeezed in between, it took some time to come to a comfortable position. Now complete focus on my son ...his story time starts and my questions never end.

Second day - Since I had an experience of the "wait" i took a book to read to keep myself engaged. Today, majority of them were only Mom's, Dad's could be busy. Heard that many kids were crying that's when it triggered a thought if its my son's. Whatever the case I am helpless. I need to sit and wait. Heard comment about one school which emphasises on religion, about the drama they conduct which is only based on Ramayana and Mahabharat and they teach this to nursery students!!. Other lady shared a story based on how one school admits students. The students are made to play and then the school official offer something to eat and they expect them to tell "Thank you" and the chocolate wrapper to be thrown in the dustbin. Wonder if such action can be expected by kids who are hungry and exhausted and would eat anything given to them. Today, the kids were brought to the parents class, our departure was smooth.

Third day - Parents were not expected to wait. Good for me. Later came back to pick him.

Yes, I did enjoy waiting to pick up my son. The one thing that I enjoyed the most is the happiness found the faces of the parents when their child was joining them. It was like their kids had completed an adventure and returned successfully. Frankly, I did feel like it.
Checkt out what my son has to tell about his first day - http://vishnu2006.wordpress.com/2010/06/12/43-first-day-of-my-school/

Love and Humanity

Below is a Mail that I received and blogging this note is my CHOICE

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:

'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He understand things as other children do. Where is the natural order of things in my son? The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.' Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?' I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.

In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again.

Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do the others let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball
in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed. The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher. The game would now be over.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.

Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.
Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates.

Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, 'Shay, run to first!

Run to first!'

Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base.

He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, 'Run to second, run to second!'

Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.

By the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball. The smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.

Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.

All were screaming, 'Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay'

Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, 'Run to third!

Shay, run to third!'

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, 'Shay, run home! Run home!'

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team

‘'That day', said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, 'the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world'.

Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day !

AND NOW A LITTLE FOOT NOTE TO THIS STORY:
We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail without a second
thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people
hesitate.

The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and
workplaces.
If you're thinking about forwarding this message, chances are that you're
probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren't the
'appropriate' ones to receive this type of message Well, the person who
sent you this believes that we all can make a difference.
We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize
the 'natural order of things.'
So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with
a choice:
Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up
those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the
process?

Another Outing - Manipal County

Manipal County - Finally the location was decided to celebrate the team outing on Friday. It was a choice over Club Kabana. Reason - No liquor that day, meaning enjoyment incomplete. Satisfaction is only complete with unlimited supply of drink. Ladies exemption from this list.

Start time announced - 9 AM. Actual started time - 10.15 am. What happened in between this time - Waiting, Grumbling and myself - Frustrated. Co-incidental my zodiac also had the same comment - It made me smile. Sometimes we do need to believe the comment against your zodiac sign.

Bus ride - Was good, after a long time. First time over the Electronic City Fly over and it was wonderful. Bangalore has truly changed a lot and our CM has done lotz of infrastructure development..

Arrival - First impression - Was similar to Radiant. Not as great as Club Kabana. Welcome drink . Rasna - Nostalgic right!!.

Activities - Started off with a wonderful song by a new team member who very few knew and now she is popular because there she had carried everyone to a different world with her lovely voice. Kannada Bhava Gethe is wonderful. This followed with short and sweet entertainment from other team members. I was among the quite audience as usual. Lot of things running in my mind. We played a good game which was planned to be set in Club Kabana's pool, but now turned out that it had to be played in the ground. We turned out to be the runners up. The tempreture was 35 degrees and it was difficult to ignore the heat. Finally heat got overridden by Fun.

Lunch - Rating 4 out of 5. One point down as Fish was not part of the menu.

Activities after 2.00pm -Missed it, returned back home.

Realization - Missed a wonderful skit, Volley ball game, and a dinner.

Take home - A Cap, and good memories.
